the weightvalue is necesarry to do a Earn value analysis and produce a S-Curve. The Weightvalue can be;
- Entered manuely through the activity form
- Entered manualy through the action bar (mark the activity/activities), select "Set weightvalue -->", enter a value and press "ok >>"
- Set the weigtvalue = duration. A more realistic way of weighing the activity if there are a relationship between the cost of the activity and the length
- Set the weightvalue equal to the cost (the planned cost value is transfeerd to the weightvalue field)
- Set the weightvalue in accordance with the duration distribution, where the total budget (from Level1 cost) is distributed over the activities. This process is beeing done for all activities. |
