Complete project life-cycle management in the banking sector - PPF Banka
Before Easy Project implementation, PPF Banka was using classical Microsoft Office tools such as MS Excel (to track milestones, tasks, budget, and resources), MS PowerPoint (to create project status reports) and also MS Project (to track milestones and project schedule).
Unfortunately, all these are just various standalone tools, covering only some parts of the project management process each, and not really providing quality teamwork and instant online access. Therefore, the bank had to look for a solution that would provide it the option to fully manage all its projects and supplies in one tool, accessible to all relevant users.
PPF Banka with Easy Project
After evaluation of existing software solutions on market, we decided to go for Easy Project as a tool with the greatest potential to provide full project lifecycle management features. Tool that will be used from initiation of project, through planning, execution phase all the way to project closure, which can also provide additional useful features such as human resource management, financial management, extensive reporting and which will also help us to implement agile methodology in our company to not to limit us to waterfall approach only.
Easy Project software comes either in the cloud or as a server solution. As a Bank with special data protection and security policies, we decided on own server implementation. The software comes with professional implementation and subsequent training done by Easy Software professional consultants with broad experience in implementing this software, which was actually proven by Gabriela, the consultant assigned to our implementation.
Apart from the regular implementation of the application core and its additional modules we purchased, we decided to go also for custom development due to some of our very specific requirements.
